Free embroidery pattern: vintage picnic girl


I have a special treat for all my dear Hausfrau Journal readers: a free embroidery pattern!

Although the flood of requests for patterns based on the vintage plastic bag I featured in a recent post did not materialize after all, I have decided to treat you lovelies to one anyway.

Below are links to two higher quality versions for you to download and print, one as pictured above with the girl facing right, the other a mirror image copy for use in making a hot iron transfer:

Refer to this tutorial by Alicia of Curiosities 808 for instructions on how to use an embroidery transfer pencil to make your own hot iron transfer pattern.
