Once again a perfectly retro design on a pudding box has caught my eye in the grocery store. What was I to do? A few boxes of lemon and chocolate flavored My*T*Fine pudding leaped into my cart as I told myself that they would make a lovely dessert tonight.

Do any of you find that most of the food packaging these days is either ho-hum boring or downright unsightly? I am unabashed about demanding a good product and pretty packaging, although given a choice between the two I'll always pick the former.
What, if any influence do product appearances have on you when you're grocery shopping? Do you splurge or impulse buy when faced with a pretty product?
Ich bin beim einkaufen auch anfällig für Verpackungen mit schönem Design und habe auch schon Produkte mit genommen, weil sie schön verpackt waren. Das geht auch mal nach hinten los, weil der Inhalt nicht so gut schmeckt wie die Packung aussieht aber egal :-)
ReplyDeleteSchön sind auch diese Nostalgie Blechdosen, die liebe ich ebenfalls sehr. Was ich seit Jahren kaufe ist der "Bensdorp Kakao". Die Verpackung hat sich in den letzten Jahrzehnten kaum verändert und er schmeckt herrlich (sowohl als Kakao als auch für Kuchen).

Liebe Caroline, Deine Liebe für Blechdosen kann ich sehr gut verstehen! Apropos schlechte Produkte, bisher habe ich wirklich Glück gehabt, dass fast alle die ich wegen der Verpackung gekauft habe ziemlich gut waren.
